ABOUT

Angela Merriott

Switch HR Solution's Founder, Angela Merriott, MBA, CPHR, CEC has over 17 years of progressive and diverse experience across various industries.

Prior to founding Switch HR, Angela was the Vice-President of HR for a $3.5B public multinational company.

Angela works closely with leadership teams and boards as a trusted advisor to develop strategies to achieve success through means that align with the company’s mission, vision and values.  

She brings a proactive and results-oriented focus and enjoys partnering with small to mid-sized companies where she can develop and implement value-added solutions and ensure alignment of human resources practices with the overall strategic objectives of the business.

Angela’s expertise is in executive and team coaching, strategic human resources and management consulting, board governance, and change management.

She has experience in both private, public and not for profit board governance representing a variety of governance models.

She has both participated on, chaired and supported the HR, Compensation and Governance Committees to achieve board and company objectives.

Angela is a board member with The McDougall House and is a member of Junior Achievement’s Human Resources and Governance Committee.

She is a long-term mentor and volunteer in the HR community and recently served three years on the board of CPHR-Alberta where she chaired the Governance Committee.
